Die Antwoord at Time Festival at Fort York - Concert Pictures

Die Antwoord were the headliners for Time Festival 2015, which took place at Toronto's historic Fort York (also known as "wherever the fuck this place is" to Ninja) on August 15. They commented on the weather being beautiful, which it was, the forecast having turned from nice to rain back to nice in the days and hours leading up to the festival. And they commented on the fact that they'd never played outside in Toronto, which is false since they played, and I photographed them at, last year's Riot Fest. Now I can't fault them for forgetting about this because they play gigs all over the world and couldn't possibly remember the circumstances of every show. Hell, I can't even remember all the bands I've seen in the last month. Glad I have this site to remind me.

The band, and the audience, were absolutely unstoppable balls of energy. I wasn't sure if any of my pics would turn out since Yolandi Visser and Ninja didn't stop moving for a second. I've become a bit of a fan of this band since seeing them last summer and I was really looking forward to their set. They hit up all my favourite tunes during their set including "Fatty Boom Boom", "Ugly Boy", "Cookie Thumper!", "Pitbull Terrier", "Baby's on Fire", "I Fink U Freaky" and "Happy Go Sucky Fucky".
