I didn't bother putting together a best of 2010 list.
It's funny. While I was living it, I didn't think that 2010 sucked that much, but in hindsight, I guess it did in a bunch of ways. No wonder I didn't have the energy to really enjoy much music, or write about it, in 2010.
There was also some good stuff, like a gig with the old band and many hours of cycling.
I do have a feeling that a lot of what I picked up in 2010 will start seeping into my consciousness more and more with the better head-space of 2011.

Yet another Lowest of the Low gig announcement!
No secret. I like the Lowest of the Low. And they're playing in town again. I saw them at Lee's back in December and man, I haven't smiled that much in a long time. They were amazing!
If you missed that show, or if you just want to see them again, they've just announced a show at Massey Hall. Wow! The big time!
If you want to go, follow the link for tickets.
Someday I might post the video I shot, but here are two videos from someone else at Friday December 3rd show.

Get yer body moving
Just listening to a random mix in iTunes, and what should come up, but a fantastic, groovy number from Les Savy Fav. The first song from them I ever heard. "Patty Lee" Awesome tune.

Gotta get back on that horse
I like to watch Later... with Jools Holland now and again.  I first heard about the show via YouTube.  As I searched for some artists, I found their performances on Jools.  aux.tv in Canada shows re-runs of old Jools programs.  I usually just record them on the good ol' pvr and fast forward through the artists that don't turn me on.
Well here's a video that did turn me on. It's KT Tunstall, and it wasn't the first time I'd heard her. However, it was the first time I heard her solo. I love this kind of looping, one-woman-band kind of sound. Very hard to get right, and she certainly gets it right. Enjoy.
Now if we could get Jools to enunciate...
