Riverfest Elora is my favourite summer music festival. It combines artists I love with new artists that I've never heard of that find a permanent spot in my music library. The vibe of the festival is chill and inviting, friendly and fun.

The 2023 edition of the festival is also their lucky 13th festival, and my sixth. And there wasn't a drop of rain during the festival!

Thanks to the Riverfest Elora team for curating and orchestrating an amazing weekend of music, fun, food and friends. And, of course, for granting me access to capture the images of the festival performers.

Feist headlined Riverfest Elora 2023 Sunday. Her set was a perfect way to end this thirteenth edition of Riverfest Elora and it was such as Sunday vibe. I loved it!

The set started with the full band, and later on, Feist did some solo acoustic tunes. The solo acoustic rendition of "Mushaboom" was transcendent. Wow. She said it was a deep cut, but it's easily one of my favourite Feist songs. And then followed with "The Good in Each Other". Amazing.

Feist's set was the perfect closer for an amazing weekend. A weekend filled with amazing music, amazing people, good food and great vibes. And it was rainless!

Field Trip 2017: Day 2 - Concert Photos

Another Field Trip has come to an end and what an amazing festival it was. These are my photos from Day 2. Click here to check out my pics from Day 1.

Phoenix brought their perfectly crafted and studio-quality sound to the main stage to headline the festival. They mixed in some brand new tunes along with their classics.

Feist was my main attraction for Sunday. She and the band played lots of songs from her new album Pleasure. Besides the new tunes, highlights for me included a solo acoustic "Mushaboom", along with "How Come You Never Go There", "My Moon My Man", "Sealion", "I Feel It All and "1234".

Badbadnotgood do what they do better than anyone; bring jazz to an indie rock festival.

Thundercat brought us all on his bass-led jazz odyssey.

James Vincent McMorrow and his band played us his emotive and soulful tunes.

Timber Timbre don't want photos of them playing their dark adventurous songs.

Hannah Georgas performed beautiful tunes from a fan of the fest who was honoured to be on stage for this one.

LP is that artist that most people proclaimed as a huge star in the making that we shouldn't miss. Well, she and the band lived up to the hype did not disappoint. LP plays solid, well-crafted rock that allows her voice and message to take centre stage. She attracted a really big side stage crowd.

I don't even know what to call the music that the duo called Tennyson produces. It's got tons of 70s rock and yacht rock sonic touchpoints with some 80s and 90s fusion thrown in, but the jam-heavy grooves and overall vibe is truly original. I loved listening to this cool set as the sun shone and the puddles tried to dry up.

Tobi entertained with a set that varied from chill hip-hop vibes to full on dance jams.

Nefe and her band played roots/bluesey soulful rock tunes with good grooves and emotional ballads.

Jaunt got things started with mellow sounds with big choruses and guitars.
