The 1975 poke fun at lots of stuff in their Girls video

I've really liked The 1975 since I heard the opening chords of "Sex". Here they are, poking fun at lots of pop video clichés, all while putting gorgeous girls in their video. Oddly enough, the song is "Girls" from their 2013 full-length début The 1975.

From the instant I first heard it, I loved The 1975's tune "Sex". It was #17 on my top tunes of 2012. They've got their first full-length album coming out September 3 and they've just released this new clip for the great tune. If you haven't heard it, check it out below and see what you think.

Cool and different new tune from The 1975 - Head.Cars.Bending

As you may recall, the first song I ever heard by The 1975, "Sex", tore the roof off my little mind. It impressed me so much that it came in at number 17 on my Top 60 Songs of 2012. Their next EP, Music For Cars, is out March 3 and you can hear the track "Head.Cars.Bending" below.

It's been a great year for indie-alternative music. Maybe it's because I've been putting more emphasis on seeking out great music for the blog, or maybe it's just intergalactic forces. Whatever it is, I'll take it.

The 1975

Here's a band that I just discovered last week, and from the first 20 seconds of the song "Sex" they had me hooked. It's just a great tune, and they have such a great sound. They're The 1975. Check out some tunes below.
