Another Riverfest Elora is in the books. This 2025 edition, which marked the 15th edition of the festival, was fantastic. Not only is it the chillest and friendliest festival around, it features a wide range of musical talent, some of which are destined to be your new favourite bands, along with delicious food and drinks, artisans, merch and random art in an idillic setting. And, the rain restricted itself to an overnight storm this year.

Even if you don't know the band name Wheatus, you almost certainly know their biggest hit, "Teenage Dirtbag". They appeared on the main stage of Riverfest Elora and charmed the crowd with their vibe and classic tunes on a very special day; the 25th anniversary of the release day of their debut album.
They may be a one-hit wonder with "Teenage Dirtbag", but they reminded us that they have another hit. It's their cover of Erasure's "A Little Respect", which apparently actually charted higher than Erasure's release.
They also rocked us with their covers of Pat Benatar's "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" and The Tragically Hip's "Music at Work".
Wheatus' set was a ton of fun and the crowd loved it. And of course, the middle singalong in "Teenage Dirtbag" was epic.
All my coverage of this year's Riverfest is right here in one post. Hope you enjoy!
