Rolemodel, formerly RLMDL, were the first band on stage with Say Hi and Telekinesis at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern on October 25. They play laid back indie pop with layers of atmospherics and melody.
They've got cool keyboards, great guitar licks and melodic solos, a solid rhythm section and beautiful vocal harmonies. Rolemodel produce flowing sounds to nod your head to and get lost in. Their music is almost meditative in a energetic way if that makes any sense at all. Their bassist stepped up and took lead vocal duties for last song.
Overall, I enjoyed the band and would definitely see them again.
