Melbourne, Australia's Camp Cope are a musical revelation. They performed at Toronto's Hard Luck Bar on June 10, sandwiched between the returning An Horse and local openers Fxrrvst.

Camp Cope's music is empowering, engaging, brutally honest, strong and inspiring; trying to make the world a better, kinder, more just place; delivered with a voice of I'm-done-with-the-bullshit confidence, raw emotion and a good dose of humour.

It was so moving to hear the crowd sing along to these empowering songs. I loved every second of the show, their latest album How to Socialise & Make Friends is one of the best of 2018, and I will be waiting excitedly until I get a chance to hear these amazing tunes from the stage again.

Until then, let's listen to some Camp Cope tunes:

"The Opener"

"How to Socialise & Make Friends"

"The Face Of God"

"Done", "Jet Fuel Can't Melt Steel Beams", "Keep Growing", "Flesh and Electricity", "Stove Lighter" and "Lost (Season One)"
