Revered rock institution Titus Andronicus performed at Lee's Palace on Sunday, October 16.

The band came back this summer with the announcement of their seventh studio album The Will to Live, and the release of “(I'm) Screwed”, "An Anomaly" and "Give Me Grief".

Riverfest Elora 2022: A compendium of posts - Concert Photos

The fine folks at Riverfest Elora mentioned that it's been 1,097 days since Riverfest 2019. How awesome was that festival? It was in the before-times, when we thought we had a lot to worry about, but we didn't even have a clue what was coming. *sigh*

I was so happy to have Riverfest Elora back in full form for 2022! The lineup was fantastic and it was so good to be back in Elora, back in Bissell Park, getting to hear music coming from these beloved stages and getting to hang out with friends I haven't seen since the last Riverfest.

While many things were the same, there were some changes this year. We got upgraded lights for the Koop and Grassland Stages. Awesome! And there was one significant absence in the food vendors this year; there was no mac n' cheese and pulled pork. I loved it and was looking forward to this special treat I only get at Riverfest. Maybe next year.

Riverfest Elora 2022: Alessia Cara - Concert Photos

Canadian pop star Alessia Cara was the Saturday night main stage headliner at Riverfest Elora 2022. She's an energetic performer and, along with her band, played hit after hit.

Riverfest Elora 2022: The Strumbellas - Concert Photos

The Strumbellas, with their new singer, danced around the Riverfest Elora main stage to the band's rousing, addictive, energetic and moving music. It was a great early-evening set that got everyone dancing.

I've covered The Strumbellas in the past, both times in 2015, at The Horseshoe and at TURF.

RIverfest Elora 2022: The Planet Smashers - Concert Photos

The Planet Smashers were a great choice as the Saturday night headlining band on the Riverfest Elora Grasslands Stage. They bring awesome energy to their ska-drenched tunes. Their latest album, Too Much Information, is out now.

I'd say that ska is the funnest music. Prove me wrong.
