California alternative/punk rock band Bad Cop/Bad Cop were first up on The Phoenix Concert Theatre stage for three dates this week with Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls and Sam Coffey and The Iron Lungs. I caught their set on Thursday night, the middle night of three.

I really enjoyed their set. Their tunes are hard rocking, with tons of energy and laden with hooks. The vocals on top are hard edged with perfect harmonies. The overall set was tight and I loved the band's attitude. I'd definitely check them out again and would recommend you give them some time with your ears.

Some tunes:

"Womananarchist"

"Cheers"

"Sugarcane"

"Victoria"

"Nightmare"
