New Jack White tunes from forthcoming album Lazaretto

Jack White no longer needs to contest James Brown for the "Hardest Working Man in Show Business" title. He's freaking everywhere, all the time. He's got a new album called Lazaretto coming out June 10. Let's listen to some tracks:

It's been a great year for indie-alternative music. Maybe it's because I've been putting more emphasis on seeking out great music for the blog, or maybe it's just intergalactic forces. Whatever it is, I'll take it.

Jack White is Shakin'

I guess we knew that Jack White was a stylin' guy since the black-and-red coordinated look of The White Stripes. On his own he's taking it to a new level, while teaching the kids about the blues.

This is Jack White's latest video from Blunderbuss for "I'm Shankin'", a song originally performed by Little Willie John.

Here's the very stylish video for Jack White's "Freedom at 21" from Blunderbuss. Great album. I'm actually enjoying this more than any White Stripes albums.

Yup, it's April 24 and you know what that means. Jack White's Blunderbuss is out today. In honour of that, I'm gonna eat "Sixteen Salteens".
