Hamilton Ontario indie rock band Basement Revolver was the first of three bands to take to the stage at Longboat Hall at The Great Hall on Toronto's West Queen West. I'd seen the band once before and I enjoy their powerful songs with strong vocals. They've got passion, integrity, intricate yet driving beats and noisy guitars. It's a lot to enjoy. Their album Heavy Eyes is out now.
They played with headliners Ellevator and Ellis at this show. Click on through to check out my pics of those bands and their tunes.
My shots from the first time I saw Basement Revolver when they played upstairs at The Great Hall are here.
Hamilton indie rock band Basement Revolver took to The Great Hall stage last Friday night, opening for London's The Go! Team. The earnest, dynamic, emotional and well-delivered tunes warmed us up even as singer Chrisy Hurn promised that the songs would make us sad before The Go! Team hit the stage to make us happy.
