On September 1, I attended a show at The Tennessee with a bright shining star opening the night. Her name is Vivien Shepherd and although you won't find her music on Bandcamp or iTunes or Spotify quite yet, she thoroughly impressed me with her vocal prowess and presence. I'm certain we're going to be hearing and seeing more from this remarkable talent in future. She performed with Toronto scene veteran Johnny Devil, and they included one of his original tunes in their set.
