We've been waiting since the summer of 2019 for our Hillside fix. It's been a long time coming, but it was definitely worth it. It felt sooooo good to be back on the Hillside grounds with a community I've missed over the past years.

Hillside 2022: Sauna - Concert Photos

When Toronto band Sauna took to the stage at Hillside 2022, I though to myself, the singer looks familiar. Perhaps he was in another band that I saw. Or maybe I did see Sauna before...

I enjoyed their powerful pop tunes that featured cool grooves and keyboard flourishes. Sauna were a personal highlight of Hillside 2022.

Turns out that I had seen Sauna before. They opened for Methyl Ethel at The Garrison. My photos of that Sauna gig are here.

Toronto band Sauna brings together Zach Bines of Weaves, Braeden Craig of Greys and Micahel le Riche of Fake Palms to make music that features propulsive riffs that revolve into the hypnotic.

I caught their show at The Garrison opening things up for Methyl Ethel. Check out my photos of them over here.
