Samito is a Mozambican/Canadian singer-songwriter from Montreal. They play high-energy and engaging tunes with great stage presence. They ended up putting on a super-fun dance party in the Koop tent at Riverfest Elora that saw the audience join the band on stage.
Check out Samito's very cool music and catch the band live next time you have the chance:
The Kramdens are a hard rocking band from Guelph. They were the last act to appear on the Wax on Wheels stage on the first night of Riverfest Elora 2017. They impressed with their powerful tunes and solid musicianship.
Montreal's Little Scream were the first band I saw on the main stage on the first day of Riverfest Elora 2017. I feel like I've been waiting forever to see these Montreal alt rockers do their thing. They delivered a set of quirky-bouncy-moody tunes played with conviction.
Up and coming Toronto artist Saya performed on the Koop tent stage at Riverfest Elora 2017. She, along with a keyboardist and drummer, play dark indie pop / R&B tunes that catch the ear the right way.
Kitchener-Waterloo's Safe as Houses was the first act I caught on the Wax on Wheels stage at the 2017 instalment of Riverfest Elora. They played easy-going, acoustic-focused tunes that are lit up by violin and cello.
