Riverfest Elora 2016: Day 3: Band 1: Good for Grapes - Concert Pictures

Vancouver British Columbia folk-alternative band Good for Grapes was the first band I saw on the last day of Riverfest Elora for 2016. I was glad I caught their show since they have a powerful and energetic sound that I took to immediately.

Riverfest Elora 2016: Day 2: Band 18: Chromeo - Concert Pictures

Montreal Quebec electro-funk duo Chromeo were the headliners on the main stage of Riverfest Elora for their Saturday line-up. The mood was a little tense as the rain was definitely coming in and everyone was questioning whether the forecasted lightning would make for a shortened show. Then, after two songs there were problems with the electrical on stage that forced the duo to retreat from the stage until things were rectified. The show did go on, and the rain did come. I bailed and it was raining quite heavily by the time I got back to my car.

I don't think the rain dampened the spirits of any of the Chromeo fans who stuck it out for their high-energy set and the accompanying dance party.

Ottawa folk-pop singer-songwriter Jeremy Fisher graced the Wax on Wheels stage at Riverfest Elora. I enjoyed the soothing melodies he produced.

Clare Nova Scotia hip-hop electro group Radio Radio were the last band to occupy The Koop tent stage at Riverfest Elora on the night of Saturday, August 20. They had energy to spare and kept a hard party going for their entire set.

Coquitlam British Columbia radio-friendly alternative rock singer songwriter Matthew Good played the main stage at Riverfest Elora as the Saturday sun set and day turned to night. He looked tired, but his solid band kept the energy up as he played his greatest hits for an appreciative audience.
