The Planet Smashers were a great choice as the Saturday night headlining band on the Riverfest Elora Grasslands Stage. They bring awesome energy to their ska-drenched tunes. Their latest album, Too Much Information, is out now.
I'd say that ska is the funnest music. Prove me wrong.

Ria Mae is a pop singer-songwriter from Halifax. She and her band graced the main stage at this year's Riverfest Elora. It was great music to chill out to in the summer sunshine.

I had heard good things about Niagara's My Son the Hurricane but I hadn't experienced them live. And what an experience it was! This band has amazing energy, and anyone who's read my ramblings for a while knows that I'm a sucker for a horn section, and My Son the Hurricane has quite the horn section!
I think everyone at the festival headed over to the Grasslands Stage for this fun set. It was a challenge getting up to the front to take some photos! You can see from the photos that they had the crowd in rapt attention; vibing, dancing and cheering along.
