When I saw the name Texas King on the Hillside 2022 lineup, I nodded sagely. This will be a good set to catch. I had seen Texas King before, at CMW in 2017 and I liked what I saw and heard then.
Well five years have gone by and Texas King still rocks hard. They doled out powerful songs with huge power chords and gigantic choruses. They really got the crowd dancing and grinning. It was awesome! And they were so powerful that they killed the power. Twice.
Texas King were a definite personal highlight of Hillside 2022.
