I first saw
The Fandemics at their
very first show. The better part of a year on, I got to experience them on the stage at Cherry Cola's. The band, made up of ex-members of Take Drugs, Darlings of Chelsea, Tacoma Redd, and Citizen Kill make music with harmonies, hooks, and heart. The tunes rock hard with those catchy power pop elements that get me every time. They give it their all on stage, with sweat flying from song one.
They've recently released the tune "Sons of our Fathers" on their
bandcamp. Check it out along with their basement video of "Behold the Man" and their frantic cover of "Kids Don't Follow". And don't miss these guys next time they're playing in your town.
