Natalie Prass at Echo Beach - Concert Photos

Richmond, Virginia singer/songwriter Natalie Prass lucked out with the weather on this visit to Toronto. She told us about visiting in the winter (cold, eh?) and during a lightning storm (You’re wet. Yes, it’s raining). This night at Echo beach was pretty darn close to perfect. It was nice and hot, with not much humidity, and clear skies, highlighted by the beautiful golden glow of the setting sun.

Natalie and the band played a great set of mellow groovy tunes with smooth Rhodes, soaring vocals and exquisite melodies. Their cool, easy going, smooth sounds reminded me a bit of 70s yacht rock, in a very good way.
