I caught Henry's message twice. First he chatted with Frank in an afternoon interview session, and then he gave us a fantastic spoken word performance on the main stage of night one of Frank Turner's Lost Evenings VII in Toronto.
Henry regaled us with stories of his life, referred to Trump by his felon number, and gave us positive messages like his encouragement for each of us to be an example and call out injustice when we see it, and left us with the message that we need people to be cool, kind and empathetic to each other. This is definitely the way.
If you get the chance to spend an evening listening to Henry Rollins' wisdom, I suggest you take it, and your open mind, and hear what he has learned over the years.
All of my Lost Evenings VII coverage is consolidated into one post that you can find here, containing links to my coverage of each artist I photographed at the festival.
Check out Henry talking about "Costco" and the talk he had with Frank during Lost Evenings VII.
