The Go! Team at The Great Hall - Concert Photos

The Go! Team have a sound like no other. It's describe on Wikipedia as a combination of, "indie rock and garage rock with a mixture of blaxploitation and Bollywood soundtracks, double Dutch chants, old school hip hop and distorted guitars." Yeah. Indeed. Wow.

When I first heard their debut album Thunder, Lightning, Strike back in around 2005, I was simultaneously blown away and enthralled by the unique mash-up that The Go! Team creates. It took me until last week to experience that energy live and capture a show with my lens.

From the opening of "Flashlight Fight" all the way through to getting everyone jumping for show closer "The Power Is On" I loved the amazing energy that never ceases to bring a smile to my face. Amazing show. My only regret is that it took this long for me to experience it.
