Japanese Breakfast at The Danforth Music Hall - Concert Photos

Michelle Zauner and her band Japanese Breakfast were in Toronto to open for shoegaze legends Slowdive. They performed on The Danforth Music Hall stage and noted that it was a very different experience than when they did their CMW residency at the dearly missed Silver Dollar Room.

I missed that series of performances, but I really enjoyed them at The Danforth show. Their music is atmospheric and ethereal and pleasing to my ears.

With Mothers' Day around the corner, Michelle sent us her personal message to cherish what you have as we heard songs about loss of her mother. These are very true words of wisdom that we sometimes don't appreciate until it's too late.
