Riverfest Elora 2024: Bully on the Main Stage - Concert Photos

Bully is one of my favourite artists. I remember smiling when I read the name in the 2024 Riverfest Elora lineup announcement. They put on a great show, with power and grace and apparently some nerves, 

I chose to embrace the rain for Bully's set. After shooting the first few songs, I covered up myself and my camera gear to protect from the rain and went out into the crowd to watch their set. 

The band sounded great and they have so many great songs. You can find their setlist here. 

They said that they were happy to take a break from the US and enjoy Canada for a while. She suggested that all festivals should be in Canada. I do love that American artists almost universally mention how it just feels nicer here. Sadly the pessimistic part of me can’t help but feel that things are slipping, at least politically.

Riverfest Elora 2024: Treble Charger on the Grasslands Stage - Concert Photos

Treble Charger performed on the Grasslands Stage at Riverfest Elora. They've got a deep catalog of 90s alternative and pop punk classics and a good crowd gathered to hear these songs performed live. 

I remember these songs streaming from my radio back in the day and it was very cool to enjoy these tunes again. A classic, blast from the past, you might say.
 

The band sounded great and the tunes brought back great memories of decades past.

Riverfest Elora 2024: Nix and Menno (of Hollerado) on the Grasslands Stage - Concert Photos

You may recognize Nix and Menno as members of Hollerado. They played some great tunes and told some great stories during their Grasslands Stage set on Friday night at Riverfest Elora.

Riverfest Elora 2024: Naduh on the Koop Tent Stage - Concert Photos

Naduh are a Hip Hop/R&B group who performed in Riverfest Elora's Koop Tent during this 2024 edition of the festival. I enjoyed their energy and beautiful harmonies.

Riverfest Elora 2024: Nyssa on the Main Stage - Concert Photos

Nyssa was the first performer up on the main stage just as the rain began to pour down on the Riverfest Elora grounds. She and her band performed powerful tunes for the crowd enjoying the performance and enduring the rain in front of the main stage.

Nyssa was long-listed for the 2021 Polaris prize for her debut solo album Girls Like Me. Her latest, Shake Me Where I’m Foolish, is out now for your enjoyment.
