Tonkapuma are a brand mash-up and bass and drums duo from Toronto. They were first up on a bill with Speedy Ortiz and Palehound at The Horseshoe Tavern. Those who got there early were traeated to frantic drumming and heavy bass riffs with shouted vocals and tempo changes galore. They had tapes and 'zines on sale.
