As far as I know,
Royal Mountain Records started their backyard barbecue series with the
NXNE showcase. I say "series" and "started" consciously, because I really want this to become a regular thing. It's such a cool vibe, hanging out behind the RMR offices, listening to amazing bands, having some good food and frosty beverages. The crowd and the bands are so easy going, inclusive and fun, that it would be hard not to want this to be a regular part of summertime in Toronto.
