We were warned. The artist known as Catholic Wilt took to The Garrison stage solo and told us that this will not sound like a celebration. The music dove into emotional depths of forlorn and agonizing emotions in a way that remained compelling.
The set may not have sounded celebratory, but the night was a celebration. A celebration of the tenth anniversary of a music venue that has hosted many, many amazing shows; The Garrison.
Check out my coverage of the other bands on this night's bill: Casper Skulls, Canyun and Komodo. And click here for the coverage of Sam Coffey and The Iron Lungs from the previous night's celebration.
