Field Trip 2018: Day 1: Dizzy on the Garrison Stage - Concert Photos

I love when I see a band that I’ve never heard of and they impress me. This happened to me at Hillside Festival in 2016 when I saw Dizzy for the first time. They didn't have any music out for consumption, but their set left me very impressed with the band. Check out those photos here.

It’s even better when I see them starting to become popular and their audience grows. This is now happening for Dizzy, big time.

This show at Field Trip 2018 was a definite festival highlight for me. The band sounded amazing, Katie Munshaw's stage presence is a great blend of unselfconscious flow and crowd engagement. The band perfectly presents the musical backdrop and foundation for Katie's melodies and lyrics.

Dizzy is one of the most promising Canadian artists performing today. I love the music, the image they present, and I wish them every success. Check them out near you. For the GTA, this will be at the Royal Mountain at Raspberry Farm festival in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, Ontario on September 2 with a great line-up.
