Halifax indie rock band Scrapes were up on the Lee's Palace stage to open for one of my all-time favourite bands, The Lowest of the Low, for the second last show I attended in 2018. Click through for my pics and thoughts on LOTL's show here.

I saw these guys for the first time almost exactly 5 years ago. We’ve both come a long way. They're still impressive with strong power chord and chorus-driven tunes. Canada deserves to hear a lot more from these guys. They let the songs stretch out with long jams and you can see they have a great time performing.

Click here for my shots of Scrapes at The Rivoli, in the very, very early days of my concert photography adventure.
