The Go! Team's first album, 2004's
Thunder, Lightning, Strike. It combined old sounds that could have come from 70s cop show theme music with school-yard chants and a new energy in a way that really resonated with me. Their 2007 and 2011 albums
Proof of Youth and
Rolling Blackouts didn't make as much of a dent in my psyche.
Now they've got a new album called
