Broken Social Scene Broken Social Scene is 10

It's the tenth birthday of one of the best albums by one of Canada's most accomplished supergroups. It's the eponymous third album by Broken Social Scene. BSS albums are dense affairs, with layers of instrumentation that take time to reveal their charms.

For me, this was a more accessible album than Feel Good Lost or You Forgot It In People. I can't write anything about this band that hasn't been written before, and probably better, by others, so I'll just say that this is an incredibly special album for me, and certainly for many others.

Press play on these incredible songs and bathe in the art.

"Our Faces Split The Coast In Half"

"Ibi Dreams Of Pavement (A Better Day)"

Definitely one of my all time favourite songs by anyone "7/4 (Shoreline)"

"Fire Eye'd Boy"

"Windsurfing Nation"

"Swimmers"

"Handjobs For The Holidays"

"Superconnected"
