Riot Fest 2014 Day 1 Band 2: Rubblebucket

Rubblebucket are a super-fun band from Brooklyn, New York. They were the second band that I enjoyed on the first day of Toronto's Riot Fest. They are so much fun to watch, listen to and photograph. They're definitely a band on my must-see-again list. I'm seeking out their albums as I write this post.
This band has everything: groove, danceable beats, funky horns, a fantastic singer with amazing stage presence, and an overall unique sound. Imagine funky beats with ska horns and emotive vocals and you're part way there.
Riot Fest may have marked their second time in Toronto and third time in Canada, I'm pretty sure it won't be their last. Their new album, Survival Sounds, just came out recently.
Check out some of Rubblebucket's fun tunes:

"Carousel Ride"

"Rewind"

"Came Out of a Lady"

"Save Charlie"

"Silly Fathers"

"Down In The Yards"
