CMW 2016: Fake Palms at The Horseshoe Tavern - Concert Pictures
Fake Palms were in the enviable position of opening for both of Bob Mould's shows at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern on May 3-4. I attended the May 3 show. The Toronto band play ambitious, engrossing tunes with intricate guitar parts and a shoegaze vibe. There's pretty much no moment of silence in their live show. I enjoyed the work of their powerful drummer and the wicked stereo guitar mix from my spot in front of the stage.
