Weathers at The Velvet Underground - Concert Pictures

Los Angeles, California's Weathers played Toronto's Velvet Underground on August 2. Their set was a mix of catchy alt-pop tunes with harder edged numbers that didn't loose their melodic charms.

Thematically, many of their tunes deal with growing up in America in this particular period of time, and the impacts that social change and politics has on the band and their contemporaries, all disguised by huge hooks and even bigger choruses. "American Dream" is a tune about living in America in 2016, which has got to be interesting to say the least. They closed their set with their current single, "Happy Pills".
