Riverfest Elora 2016: Day 3: Band 6: Wintersleep - Concert Pictures

Halifax Nova Scotia alternative rock band Wintersleep has become one of my favourite bands. I mean, I loved their melodic intensity since I first heard "Weighty Ghost", "Archeologists" and "Oblivion" from their 2007 debut Welcome To The Night Sky, but seeing the band live and witnessing their musical brilliance across New Inheritors, Hello Hum and this year's The Great Detachment has pushed me over the edge.

So when I saw them on the bill for the Sunday of Riverfest Elora, I was super-excited to see the band in full festival mode. Their songs are definitely big enough to fill a festival main stage, I thought. And I was certainly right.
