Calvin Love was one of the acts I was really looking forward to seeing take to The Garrison stage at
Wavelength Festival on Friday, February 12. It was a cold night. Really cold. And snowy. Which is not out of place for Toronto in February but after the unbelievably mild winter we've had this year, it just feels rude.
Calvin and his band were determined to heat things up with their soul-pop tunes. I heard cool elements of rock, blues, funk, rockabilly and surf in their high-energy music. I definitely recommend checking out Calvin Love.
