This year marked the 16th year of Wavelength Festival and my first time attending. It was a diverse, three-day festival that took place over the weekend of February 12-14 at The Garrison and Markham House City Building Lab. I know I'm going to try to attend all their events going forward.

Montreal's Organ Mood was the first act to perform. They certainly live up to the description of a psychedelic, immersive audio-visual duo. They set up a screen for their projections and got right to their unique music and visuals. Their first tune focused on turning your heartbeat into song and got the audience involved right away.

Their projected imagery and spacey sounds washed over us. They brought in another audience member to play their musical instrument that can be played by anyone and jammed out. They kept the audience involved by handing out percussion for their last song.
